Calling all budding grandad-olescents and gritty grannies! It's time to put down your pipe and leave your knitting at home. Chessington World of Adventures & Zoo are celebrating National Grandparents Day on 5th October by offering free entry* to the first 100 grandparents who visit the Park with a full paying child (under 12).

If you are not quite ready for the kind of extreme grandparenting shown in the film clip. Relax - because Chessington has something for everyone including lots of stuff for 'sensible' people to do. Why not stroll through the Trail of the Kings where your little monkeys will meet amazing gorillas or come face to face with sharks in the new SEA LIFE Centre.

...Or you could sit down and enjoy a nice cup of tea while your grandchildren scream their heads off on some of the amazing rides!

*Offer entitles one grandparent to one free entry when accompanied by one full paying child on 5th October 08 only. The first 100 grandparents will be entitled to this offer. Once this capacity has been reached, Grandparents will be charged at the normal full day rate. Visitors under 1m in height enter free of charge. A child is over 1m in height and up to 11 years old.
